This USCG-approved Type V PFD offers Type 3 performance. It can inflate automatically upon water immersion using a replaceable CO2 cylinder (one cylinder is included with purchase). Alternatively, it can be manually inflated with a pull of the "jerk to inflate" cord or through the back-up oral inflation tube.

For situations where the PFD will be submerged in water, such as duck hunting or dock and shore work, the Cirrus 26 includes a manual-only conversion cap. This cap easily locks the vest into manual inflation mode, making it suitable for non-life-threatening situations where the vest may be submerged.
